Remember Tanya Hope, the 'Appatlo Okadundevadu' girl? She went on to do Jagapathi Babu's 'Patel S.I.R', but it's the kind of film where nobody even noticed her (among the tiny unlucky folks who watched it).

The news is that the 5 ft 7 inches tall model-turned-actress has been roped in to play the role of a cop in Ravi Teja's next. A remake of the Tamil hit 'Bogan', the film will be directed by Lakshman. This is Tanya's most important Telugu film till date.

Catherine Tresa is the heroine. SJ Suryah will reprise Arvind Swamy's role. The film could go to the floors next month.

Meanwhile, Ravi Teja awaits the release of 'Raja The Great' on Oct 13.
