In a bizzare incident, a 35 year old woman from Rajasthan’s Gangapur has been locked up in her room for 45 days by Tantriks.  The kin of the girl had originally taken Anita to a group of five tantriks who claimed that the girl was cursed by evil spirits and only they could cure her.

Reportedly, Anita became unconcious on January 14 following which the group of five Tantriks locked her up in one of the rooms. However, the girl died soon after that following which the tantriks had promised the family that they would make her walk soon. It’s also said that the tantriks who were staying in the house used perfumes and sprays to ward off the foul smell emanating from the body and also did not let Anita’s sister and mother go out of the house.

One of Anita’s sisters, by the name of Mohini on February 27th, noticed the foul smell and narrated the entire incident to her brother Shyam who was living in a nearby locality after which he took the matter to the cops. Upon receiving the complaint, the police rushed to the spot finding Anita’s body and have arrested the four tantriks out of five. The group’s leader Gajendra Singh is still at large.
