Besides KVJ and Navdeep's Mythri, Chanakyudu has released today. Debutante G Srinivas-directed Chanakyudu stars Tanish and Ishitha in the leads.

While Tanish hails from a joint family, the heroine plays an orphan with whom the hero falls in love. When they want to marry each other, certain enemies of the family put them in jeopardy. How the hero defeats these forces and marries his girl forms the crux of the story.

The producers are sure that the film will install Tanish as a commercial hero. A love story, the film has admittedly been shot without succumbing to budgetary constraints.

Kota, Chandra Mohan, Ali, Subbu Raju, Jhansi and others have important roles. Lyrics are by Manga Raju and Kandikonda. Dialogues are by Chinta Srinivas. Choreography is by Shekar.

Music-directed by Vengi, this one is produced on Sai Srinivasa Productions.
