Today marks that day when Tanish has completed 10 years as a male lead. His first movie, 'Nachavule', was released today in 2008. It was in 1998 that Tanish was introduced as a child artist in 'Premante Idera'.
Speaking on the special day in his career, Tanish says, "I have always been crazy about songs since my childhood. I used to dance a lot wherever I could. My father used to work in Defence sector. So many special events were being held regularly and I used to be a special appearance at the events. For the sake of my career, my father took the risk of taking voluntary retirement. We have been through so many travails since then. My parents have never lost faith in me. They have always been strong."
"I was doing my Engineering when I did my first movie. I shed 10kg in just 15 days for the role. I watched it with my friends. When I came out, I learned that the film had a positive report. I thank producer Ramoji Rao garu and director Ravi Babu garu for the opportunity. I had done 60 movies as a child artiste, and 20 films as a hero," he adds.
"I have to thank the media, my parents and the audience. They have always been through my good and bad phases. My career has seen both hits and flops but my journey has been going on. I have taken some wrong decisions. One of them is that I stay away from the media. I have always had the media's support. I never entered the industry with the mindset of being a hero," Tanish adds.
He thanks Bigg Boss-2 show for endearing him to the audience. "The show gave me so many emotional moments. I have finalized a new film after 'Rangu'," he signs off.
