Tanikella's Mithunam to reach out to US' Telugu NRIs

It is known that Tanikella Bharani is engaged in bringing out an offbeat film entitled Mithunam. SP Balasubramaniam is co-starring with yesteryear actress Lakshmi in this author-backed film. Don't ask for more, because Mithunam features none but these two naturals as husband and wife.

In the twilight years, this couple refuse to wallow in self-pity. They have been abandoned by their progeny, who are busy minting money in a foreign country. Far from complaining, they turn unconventional. Mithunam delineates the minds of this couple who spend their lives creatively.

Yesudas and Janaki have rendered two songs. Complete with a 'Coffee Dandakam' by Jonnavitthula Ramalingeshwara Rao, the film was shot at a village in Srikakulam district.

Anand Muyida of AMR Productions is planning to launch the audio in New York this 31st. Two events are scheduled to be held in Dallas (on April 1) and New Jersey (on April 7).
