Shiva’s ‘Tamizh Padam 2’ was one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Directed by CS Amudhan, the film also has performed well in terms of Box Office collections. While movies with big budgets release and fight out the market, ‘Tamizh Padam 2’ belongs to the cadre of films made on a considerably low budget but good performance in BO.

In its first week of release in Chennai BO alone, the film made Rs.1,40,83,763 in profits. Now the exciting update is that the film has neared 1 crore in collection in its second week as well. Last weekend in Chennai alone, the film was screened in 18 theatres with 206 shows and earned a total of Rs.92,95,304 in profits.

Plus its also worth mentioning here that the theatres saw an average crowd presence of 85%.Since the day of its release (July 12), the film has made Rs.3,96,74,157 in profits. One has to admit that a near 4 crore collection in Chennai alone is n impressive feat.
