Tamilisai Soundarajan appointed as Governor - First female in Tamil Nadu history

Dr. Tamilisai Soundarajan the Tamil Nadu State BJP Leader has been appointed as the new Governor of Telangana and becomes the first female from the state to get the honor in history. A doctor by profession she is the daughter of Congress leader Kumari Anandan but has been a mainstay for the BJP in TN since 1999.

Tamilisai has thanked the BJP government for giving her the post and has also revealed that her tenure as the state leader ends in December 2019 to facilitate her to take up the top post in the neighboring state. Wishes are pouring in from all quarters irrespective of political differences.
