As the Tamil Nadu assembly elections 2021 are nearing, political party members have been filing their nominations for contesting the elections, and as a formality, they have declared the values of the properties and net worth of themselves.

Seen below are the details of the property values mentioned in the nomination papers filed by some of the star candidates contesting the Assembly elections.,

O. Panneerselvam:

Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam who's contesting in Theni constituency, had submitted his property list to Election Officer Vijaya. O. Panneerselvam has stated that there are no immovable properties like land and house in his name. Besides the cash reserve is Rs. 23,500, the bank balance is Rs. 11 lakh 42 thousand 698, 3 vehicles worth Rs. 48 lakh 85 thousand 424, 16 grams of jewelery worth Rs. 67,440, and Rs. 61 lakh 19 thousand 162. He has a debt of Rs 65 lakh 55 thousand 411 and had got it from his wife.

MK Stalin:

As per the list of assets filed by MK Stalin, he has Rs 50,000 in reserve and his wife Durga has Rs 25,000. Durga has 720 grams of gold jewelery worth Rs 24 lakh 77 thousand. MK Stalin has movable assets worth Rs 4 crore 94 lakh 84 thousand 792 and Durga has movable assets worth Rs 30 lakh 52 thousand 854. MK Stalin has immovable assets worth Rs 2 crore 24 lakh 91 thousand 410 and Durga has immovable assets worth Rs 1 crore 38 lakh 46 thousand 283. There are 47 cases pending against MK Stalin.

Saidai Duraisamy:

Former mayor of Chennai Metropolitan Corporation Saitha Duraisamy, who is contesting from Saidapet, has Rs 5 lakh 32 thousand 140 in his assets and Rs 86 lakh 75 thousand 777 with his wife Mallika Duraisamy. He has movable assets worth Rs 4 crore 8 lakh 12 thousand 937 in his name, movable assets worth Rs 4 crore 35 lakh 60 thousand 751 in his wife's name and immovable assets worth Rs 25 crore 75 lakh. Loans worth 6 crore 60 lakh 78 thousand 917 in the name of Saitha Duraisamy and Rs. 2 crore 49 lakh 41 thousand 630 are in the name of his wife. There are 3 income tax cases pending.

Udayanidhi Stalin: 

Chepakkam constituency DMK Candidate Udayanithi Stalin has reserves worth Rs 75,000 and his wife Krithika's reserves of Rs 50,000. He has movable assets worth Rs 21 crore 13 lakh 9 thousand 650 in his name and movable assets worth Rs 1 crore 15 lakh 33 thousand 222 in his wife's name.Similarly, there are immovable assets worth Rs 6 crore 54 lakh 39 thousand 552.

Seeman:

Seeman, the chief co-ordinator of the Naam Tamil Party is contesting in Tiruvottiyur, and has movable assets worth Rs 31 lakh 6,500 in his name and Rs 63 lakh 35 thousand 31 in the name of his wife Kayalvizhi. There are also immovable assets worth Rs 31 lakh in the name of Kayalvizhi. He has a bank loan of Rs 6 lakh. Seeman mentions film director and farmer in the details of his career. There are 17 pending cases against Seaman.

Johnpandian:

According to the list of assets filed by Johnpandian, the leader of the Tamil Nadu People's Progressive Alliance  Rs 4 crore 22 lakh 6 thousand 504 in his name, Rs 5 crore 62 lakh in the name of his wife Priscilla Pandian, Rs 57 lakh 28 thousand in the name of his son Vyango Pandian Vinol. He has mentioned that there is money and gold and silver items in the bank account of Rs 28 lakh 19 thousand in the name of Niveda. He has movable assets worth Rs 1 crore 14 lakh 79 thousand and immovable assets worth Rs 80 lakh 18 thousand in his name, movable assets worth Rs 1 crore 90 lakh 37 thousand in his wife's name and immovable assets worth Rs 75 lakh 43 thousand. Movable assets worth Rs. 16 lakh 52 thousand in the name of the son,  immovable assets worth Rs 35 lakh and movable assets worth Rs 17 lakh 22 thousand in his daughter's name. He said that there are no bank loans in his name and that he had a bank loan of Rs 10 lakh in his wife's name. He also mentioned that 2 criminal cases are pending against him.

DMK candidate MK Mohan:

Anna Nagar constituency DMK Candidate MK Mohan has stated his list of assets that himself and his wife have a reserve of Rs 1 lakh each. MK Mohan has movable assets worth Rs 2 crore 82 lakh 92 thousand 326 and his wife Geeta has assets worth Rs 1 crore 34 lakh 34 thousand. MK Mohan has immovable assets worth Rs 1 crore 51 lakh 23 thousand 52 in his name and his wife has assets worth Rs 1 crore 26 lakh 50 thousand in his name. 116 crore 87 lakh 4 thousand worth of agricultural land in the name of MK Mohan, Rs. 1 crore 25 lakh worth of non-agricultural land, Rs. 5 crore 86 lakh 37 thousand 500 worth of commercial buildings, Rs. 5 crore 18 lakh worth of residential buildings, 63 crore 16 lakh 26 thousand 760 worth of agricultural lands in his wife's name, Rs. 2 crore 94 lakh 24 thousand 920 worth of non-agricultural land. JCD Prabhakar: 

Villivakkam A.D.M.K. Candidate JCD Prabhakar has Rs 1 lakh and his wife Grace Jayanthi Rani has Rs 40,000 in reserve. JCD Prabhakar has movable assets worth Rs 44 lakh 40 thousand 430 and immovable assets worth Rs 3 crore 87 lakh 50 thousand. His wife has movable assets worth Rs 79 lakh 69 thousand 409 and immovable assets worth Rs 9 crore 1 lakh 73 thousand 500.No cases are pending in the name of JCD Prabhakar.

Kamal Haasan:

Makkal Needhi Maiam leader Kamal Haasan has filed his nomination to contest from Coimbatore South constituency. He has immovable assets of Rs.131 crore 84 lakh 45 thousand and movable assets of Rs.45 crore 9 lakh thousand 476 with a total of Rs.176 crore 93 lakh 46 thousand 476 rupees. Kamal Haasan has a debt of Rs 49 crore, 50 lakh 11 thousand 10 and a revenue of Rs 22 crore last year.

Coimbatore Singanallur constituency Makkal Needhi Maiam candidate and party state vice-president Dr Mahendran has various assets worth Rs 160 crore.
