The former Tamil Nadu BJP chief Tamilisai Soundarajan has been sworn in as the second Governor of Telangana today. The Telangana High Court Chief Justice R.S. Chauhan administered her in the presence of the Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.

Actor Vivek wished Tamilisai Soundarajan in person by gifting her a gold shaded shawl and stated on social media "I extend my warm wishes to “Her Excellency” Tamizisai Soundarrajan, on taking the post of Governor of Telangana today. Best wishes Madam on behalf of Tamilnadu. It may be recalled that Dr. Tamilisai is the first female politician from Tamil Nadu to serve as a Governor in the history of the state.

Vivek meanwhile after delivering the cerebral hit 'Vellai Pookkal' is currently starring in Thalapathy Vijay's 'Bigil' and Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2' directed by Shankar.
