Tamil 'Udhayan', next week

The Tamil remake of Malayalam Super hit ‘Udayananu Tharam’ which is made in the title 'Vellithirai' will grace the theaters within a couple of weeks.

The movie will feature Prithviraj in the lead role which Mohanlal did to perfection, in the original. Prakashraj is in the role of the superstar Saroj Kumar, aptly renamed in the remake, while Gopika will appear in the female lead. This is the second time both Prithviraj and Gopika are coming together for Kollywood films.

The curious factor is that even though both these actors are malayalees, they had never been paired for a Malayalam film.
