Popular Television actor Venkatesh passed away due to a sudden cardiac arrest earlier today and it is said that the end came at around 2.30 pm this afternoon.  The film and television fraternity is in deep shock as earlier in the day comedy actor Theepetti Ganesan also passed away in Madurai.

Venkatesh is famous for playing character roles in 'Saravanan Meenachi' in which he played Rakshitha's father and Kannamma's father in 'Bharathi Kannamma' as well.  He is also a pivotal part of 'Eeramana Rojave'.  Vijay TV and celebrities associated with it have been posting their condolence messages on social media.

Venkatesh who was 52 years old is survived by his wife and two grown-up children with whom he has participated in television reality shows in the past.  His sister's husband is veteran actor Napolean.  Apart from television serials Venkatesh has also acted in the movies such as 'Pizza', 'Soodhu Kavvum', 'Thegidi', 'Mynaa' and 'Sattai' among others.
