As Chennai is bracing itself for tough times ahead, the famous Tamil Nadu Weatherman has given reason to breathe a sigh of relief.
The city has recorded up to 200 mm rainfall as of yesterday and BBC has reported it would increase from 300-500 mm. But Weatherman in his social page has reassured that people needn’t be anxious about floods
Stating the necessity for dams and lakes to to be filled with water, he also advised to keep mobile phones charged at all times to negate adversities during power cuts.
It is also notable that this year has recorded the highest rainfall following 2015 ‘s torrential downpour. Asking people to stay indoors, he also promised to keep updating about ‘rainy’ situations regularly as always.
