The rains have begun for the state and in a shocking news, the TN met department has issued a red alert coming October 7. Let’s see what private weather expert Pradeep John had to say about the same.

According to him, there will be heavy rainfall across the state today and tomorrow. As far as Chennai is concerned, the rains will be intermittent. The circulation at Gulf of Mannar will bring the state a lot of rainfall in the northern region.

Though it would be not easy to predict exactly which regions, he stated that Thiruvallur to Tuticorin will receive rainfall till tomorrow and western regions like Coimbatore, Erode, Nilgiris, Theni, Dindigul, Tiruppur, Virudhunagar, Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari will receive rainfall for the next two days. He also opined that there would be plenty of rainfall in Ramanathapuram and Madurai regions this night.
