Now, Tamil Nadu Weather Man has reported that Chennai will cross the mark today which has happened in 200 years.
The weatherman posted, "It is time for KTCC now. Just 70 mm more required in Chennai to cross 1000 mm for the November month & has happened only 4 times in 200 years." Chennai city, Chengalpet, Kancheepuram and Tiruvallur are getting extreme rains from the low while Cuddalore, Karaikkal, Villupuram belt also getting a good amount of rains.
The above images shows a anti-clockwise spin from the low pushes the clouds to Chennai.
