Tamil Nadu State Film Awards for 2015 announced! – Jyothika’s ’36 Vayathinile’ bags 7 wins

The Tamil Nadu State Film Awards went extinct in 2008. It was reinstated in 2017 and the government announced the winners of the years 2009 to 2014 earlier. Now, the winners of the Tamil Nadu State Film Awards for 2015 have been unveiled. The awards will be presented in a grand ceremony at TN Rajarathinam Kalai Alangaram on March 6th.

Director Mohan Raja’s ‘Thani Oruvan’ starring Jayam Ravi bagged the Best Film award while Madhavan and Jyothika clinched the Best Actor and Actress awards respectively for ‘Irudhi Suttru’ and ’36 Vayadhinile’. Notably, Jyothika’s ’36 Vayadhinile’ bagged a total of seven awards. Here is the complete list of winners in the Tamil Nadu State Film Awards 2015:
