The end of day two of the complete lockdown barring essential services by the Indian and state governments has seen many good and bad incidents happening all over. Cops are being lauded for trying their best to keep people off the streets but at the same time such atrocities by the men in khaki have also been reported.
In one appalling incident, a Chennai cop is seen beating up a man on a two-wheeler scooter with a stick and asking him to go home. The person wearing a mask then explains that he is a doctor going to do his duty at his hospital to help patients suffering from coronavirus and other ailments. Though the cop apologizes and tells the doctor he should have told him earlier the beating is not good to see and holds the authorities in bad light.
