The official updates of the coronavirus patients in Tamil Nadu has revealed that 33 new cases have tested positive in the last twenty-four hours taking the total to 1629. Chennai has reported the most number today in the state with 15 new patients and now the total stands at 393 followed by Coimbatore which has 134 patients but no increase reported from there today.

27 persons have recovered and discharged from hospitals today taking the total number to 662. No new deaths have been reported today and the number still stands at 18. 5,978 samples have been tested today and 1937 results are pending. 1878 people are being treated under hospital isolation. Compared to yesterday when the number of new patients was 76 today it is relatively low and hopefully stays that way in the coming days.
