The coronavirus pandemic is continuing its vicious reign across the world with the number of victims going past 1 million and standing at 10,30,362 and claiming 54,226 at the time of this writing. 2,19,924 people have recovered from the disease which is the good news here.
Tamil Nadu has shown another sharp jump of 100 more patients today with the total infected numbering 411 out of whom 7 have been discharged and results for another 484 awaited. Beds in Isolation Wards: 23,689 Ventilators: 3,396 Current Admissions:1,580 are the other stats in the state and it has to be seen how it goes about in the coming days. Meanwhile there are eleven more days to go for the 21 day lockdown in India to come to an end and it remains to be seen whether the curfew would be extended or not depending on the flattening of the curve of the COVID 19 spread.
The best way to fight the coronavirus is by staying at home, social distancing and practicing hygiene of washing thoroughly the hands with soap, sanitizer and water for at least 20 seconds. Care should also be taken for frequently touched items such as door knobs, taps and other things that should be sanitized regularly to check the spread of the virus.
