The Tamil Nadu Health Secretary Beela Rajesh IAS has updated that 106 new patients have tested positive for coronavirus and the number in the state has now gone up to 1075.  A 45-year-old woman who was admitted in Chennai government hospital has passed away today and the total death toll has increased to 11. 8 doctors have been infected so far and out 49 patients with Severe Acute Respiratory Infection two tested positive.  While there were only 48 persons testing positive yesterday the number has doubled today pointing to a grim situation in the state once again.
