COVID 19 - Chennai in danger zone while rest of TN showing very good signs

The official updates regarding the coronavirus new cases is a complete shocker for Chennaites as 103 new cases have been detected which is the highest single-day jump for the city ever. The capital's unwanted total of infected is now swelled to 673. On the other hand following the recent trend, the rest of Tamil Nadu reported only 18 cases and the total for the whole state stands at 2058. 1392 are males and 666 are female patients and 121 children below age of have 12 tested positive so far which is a worrying factor.
The encouraging sign for Tamil Nadu is that so far 1128 have been discharged while the active cases stand at 902 with the death toll at 25 with one person losing life today. 101,874 tests have been conducted and 93,189 persons tested so far with 7093 today alone 1908 samples are under process.
The lockdown phase two which ends on May 3rd may not be relaxed going by the current trend and as advised by experts its best for the people to stay at home and practice social distancing and hygiene of washing hands and things that are used regularly with alcohol based soaps and disinfectants to combat the deadly disease.
