News is just coming in that the shootings of movies starring the topmost heroes in Tamil cinema are being stopped due to the alarming second wave of COVID 19. Already in Tamil Nadu, the daily cases have gone in excess of fifteen thousand and deaths nearing a hundred.

According to reports the Suriya- Priyanka Arul Mohan starrer 'Suriya 40', 'Chiyaan 60' starring Vikram and Dhruv Vikram and 'Don' starring Sivakarthikeyan and Priyanka Arul Mohan are among the movies that have halted production.

Already the government has ordered the closure of movie theaters and mall multiplexes and sources add that the film industry has voluntarily planned to stay off the sets for the next one month at least. The official updates are awaited on this by this evening.
