The coronavirus pandemic that started spreading in India extensively by March-end forced the state and the central governments to go for a complete lockdown from April 1st. For the past five months, most businesses were allowed only to open in a staggered manner.
After repeated requests from the film industry, the government on Sunday announced that film shootings can resume and have today released the guidelines.
* 75 persons in total including cast and crew members will only be allowed
* 6 feet social distancing must be adhered to not only during film shootings but also sound recording and editing suits too.
* No spectators or visitors should be allowed inside the shooting premises
* When shooting out of the city the film management should be in constant touch with the local officers of that particular village, town or city.
* Seperate in and Out paths should be created at the shooting location.
* Shooting floors, vehicles, makeup room, toilets etc should be sanitized before and after use.
* Used masks and gloves should be disposed off with care and the sanitary workers of the unit should be trained in the methods.
* Except those in front of the camera that is the actors and actresses the rest of the cast and crew should wear masks compulsoraily.
* Costumes, wigs and makeup kits should not be shared unless absolutely necessary.
* Mics should be avoided to the maximum but if used should never be shared.
* The medical and travel history of the cast and crew and the entire team should be monitored.
