Last Week Indiaglitz had reported that the Tamil Film Producers Association will soon issue an order for all producers to not release any film after the month of October this year which would mean that there will be no Tamil film release for Deepavali this 2015. Read here: No Deepavali releases in Tamil this year?

Now the TFPC office bearers have confirmed this while meeting the pres to waive the green flag for the Tamil films releasing tomorrow (September 4).

"From October 23rd we are implementing plans which will revive the Tamil film industry. Producers Council will go on strike since that date and there won`t be any film releases. There will be no Diwali releases this year. The strike decision has been taken only after discussing with the all associations. They are all supporting it. "

Will the Tamil movie buffs face a dry Diwali this year? We will have to wait and watch for the turn of events.
