The standoff between the producers and the Digital Service Providers has led to a strike by the former with no films having released from March 1. Pertaining to this, the Tamil film producers council has let out an important statement.

Going by it, the negotitations that happened at Hyderabad yesterday did not result favourably as the demands sought by the Joint Action Committee from Digital Service Providers have not been met with. And the council also went on to announce a major decision that since there have been no cooperation from the Theatre owners and no favourable resolution, no new films will be releasing until their justified demands are met with.

This has come off as a bad news for cinema lovers who have been in eager anticipation for movie since the strike.
