Famous producer passes away

Tamil cinema has lost two veteran actors Rocket Ramanathan and Vellai Subbaiah in the past few days. Yesterday the 7th of September famous producer M.G. Sekhar passed away at a private hospital in Chennai where he was taken to after being ill. His last rites will be held at his Perambur residence today.

Sekhar under his banner M.G. Pictures produced several hit films with top stars such as Karthik ('Seeman'), Mammootty ('Kilipechu Ketkava), Sathyaraj ('Thaaimaaman' and 'Sivasakthi') and Vijayakanth ('Thirumoorthy').
