Tamil actress arrested for cheating several men

Shruti played the lead role in a movie titled 'Aadi Ponaal Avani' and has also acted in a few other movies. She has been arrested under the Goondas Act for cheating several men pretending to be interested in marrying them and then relieving them of lakhs of rupees.
One Balamurugan who is working as a software engineer in Germany was stripped off 41 lakh rupees by Shruti after she lured him with a marriage proposal aided by her parents Chithra and Prasanna Venkatesh. When Balamurugan lodged a complaint the police found that several men had been cheated by the same actress and have filed cases on her and her parents.
The trio have lived a luxury life with their looting while the poor men were not only cheated financially but emotionally too.
