Chennai cops book Tamil actress for releasing Sterlite issue video

Tamil serial actress Nilani released a video today condemning the brutal killing of the Tuticorin Sterlite protestors in police firing. She herself was dressed as a cop as she was shooting for a serial and said that she felt ashamed the wear the costume. Nilani has added that if she was not caught up in the shoot whe would have headed for the South Tamil Nadu city and participated in the protest.
The Vadapalani cops in Chennai have registered a case against Nilani under four sections and it is reported that she could be arrested any moment. The Tuticorin police have also filed a case against Kamal Haasan for allegedly violating the curfew imposed there under section 144.
