An unexpected incident of a serial actress' husband committing suicide has sent shock waves across the industry. Actress Rekha is popular in the Tamil Television industry and has acted in several serials and has also hosted some TV shows.

Before few years, Rekha had got married to a person named Gopinath, and this was a love marriage. Rekha had later found Gopinath having an extramarital affair, and this had lead to arguments between the husband and wife, and yesterday, the couple had an argument which lead to Gopinath leaving the house.

Gopinath had reached his office on Christmas, and even though it was a holiday, he opened the office, and committed suicide by hanging himself. The employees who came the next day to the office, were shocked seeing him dead and informed police. It has been said that Gopinath had committed suicide due to issues with his wife Rekha, besides some financial issues.
