Remember Pathiepan who was seen in the role of Chola king in Yuganiki Okkadu? The actor's remarkable portrayal fetched him critical applause. The talented artist will be seen in Racha, as Ram Charan's father. The scenes involving him and Cherry were shot recently. The scenes come in a flashback.
Though the actor looks like a Tamilian features-wise, he can impress any audience with his demeanour. Parthiepan was married and divorced to actress Seetha, and their daughter Keerthana was famously seen a decade ago in Mani Ratnam's Amrutham.
The screen chemistry between Parthiepan and Cherry will be interesting to watch. Going by the story, the scenes come at a crucial moment in the story, sources say. It is to be seen if Cherry, who plays Viswam, is goaded in the film by his father to achieve a target.
Parthiepan, who played a different character in the recently released 3D flick 'Ambuli', is happy about making his foray into Tollywood with 'Racha'. The movie has Tamannah as the leading lady.
When asked whether he has any scenes with Tamannah in the movie, Parthiepan, in a lighter vein, says, "Sorry, Tamannah is not lucky enough to share the screen space with me."
The audio of Racha will be released in Kurnool at the famous STBC college grounds on the 4th of March. Director Shankar and Pawan Kalyan are the chief guests. The budget of the film is reportedly more than Rs. 30 cr. This Sampath Nandi directorial has a remix of Vana vana velluvayi.. from Gang Leader.
