The Coronavirus pandemic has left a huge impact on the economy of the country and among the worst affected sectors happens to be the film industry, which is estimated to lose more than 5000 crores due to the lockdown.

In the wake of this crisis, several stars of the Tamil film industry are reducing their salaries, and few days back Actor and music director Vijay Antony announced letting go of 25% of his salary, and Actor Harish kalyan and director Hari also made similar announcements.

Now, popular supporting actor Arul Doss who started his career as a cinematographer before acting in movies like Thenmerku Paruvakatru, Naan Mahaan Alla, Soodhu kavvum, Nimir etc has announced that he won't be taking any salary for all the movies he's going to act till December. This announcement has been appreciated by the film fraternity.
