The remake rights of Kshanam have been wanted across film industries, especially Hindi and Tamil. While in Hindi, even A-listers are after the film, in Tamil, the rights have been acquired by Sibiraj, better known in the Telugu States as the son of 'Katappa' Sathyaraj.

Kshanam has been directed by Ravikanth Perepu with Adivi Shesh and Adah Sharma in lead roles. Sibiraj is likely to play the lead role in the flick. The director and other cast and crew details are expected to be announced soon.

Sibiraj is presently busy doing an yet-to-be-titled film directed by debutant Manikandan. He also has the horror flick Jackson Durai getting ready to release soon.
