Tamannah Bhatia may well reprise Kangana Ranaut's role in the Telugu remake of the Hindi hit 'Queen'. Only recently, Kajal Aggarwal signed up to do the Tamil remake.

Neelakanta, whose 'Chammak Challo' and 'Maaya', didn't work in recent times, has been roped in as the director. He is re-imagining the screenplay as per his temperament and the Telugu nativity. The discerning audiences remember the director as the talent behind such critically-acclaimed movies as 'Show', 'Missamma' and, more recently, 'Virodhi'. Maybe, this is why he has been enlisted to direct the comedy-drama.

Besides being a well-read director, Neelakanta is adept at telling character-based, female-oriented subjects. As for Tamannah, the performer has chosen the right subject!
