Tamannah Bhatia has said that Abhinetri, her upcoming film also starring Prabhu Deva and Sonu Sood, is not a horror film as people are thinking. "You should decide what genre it belongs to only after watching the movie," she said, speaking at the teaser and trailer launch of the film.

"After Baahubali, audience are expecting new stuff from me. When Vijay came with his narration, I was excited. I have become a better actress with this film," the acclaimed actress of films like Oopiri/Thozha said.

The actress is clearly in awe of Prabhu Deva, whom she describes as 'God of Dance'. "A reason why I chose to act in this film is with the intention of getting an opportunity to interact with Prabhu Deva. He is not a King of Dance. He is the God of Dance," she said.
