A few days ago, news trickled in that the Tamil remake of 'Queen', that was to star Tamannah in Kangana Ranaut's shoes, was shelved forever. Its producer Thiagarajan (father of actor Prashanth of 'Jeans' fame) has come out in the open to say that the project is very much happening, sans Tamannah.
Going into the details, the actress reportedly demanded a bomb to act in the film and the same made the producer have second thoughts.
Had it been Tamannah for this heroine-oriented movie, the film would have sold well in Telugu as well. Now that she has walked out, director Revathy (yesteryear actress) has to find a suitable replacement.
Amala Paul is the heroine of the Malayalam version. Aside from these languages, it will be made in Kannada as well.
