By doing item songs in films like Alludu Seenu and Speedunnodu opposite a budding actor like Bellamkonda Srinivas, Tamannah has made item songs look sexy for many. In her interview to IndiaGlitz, an inspired Rashmi Gautam said that if A-listers are doing item songs, why not actresses like her.

Latest, Tamannah is said to be under the consideration of Koratala Shiva and NTR for doing an item song in Janata Garage. Although they haven't approached the much-hailed actress, they are serious about roping her in. In a film starring Samantha and Nithya Menen, Tamannah's entry will star even greater glamour value.

However, given that Tamannah's stardom has only increased after the release of Oopiri, and given that she is doing a female-oriented role in a Telugu-Tamil-Hindi tri-lingual, she may not be ready to do an item song this year. Going by her words in a recent interview, Tamannah doesn't wait for item songs but grabs an opportunity if she likes it.

She is also of the opinion that if heroes do item songs, it will be eye candy for girls. Guess she will advice top heroes who approach her with an offer to do item song to do the same for others!
