Tamannah says she is thankful to Vadivelu for cooperating with her very well in two of her recent films – ‘Sura’ and ‘Thillalangadi’. “He is extremely popular but so down to earth,” says the top heroine of Tamil cinema.

“I heard a lot about Vadivelu sir. And I realised that it’s real fun to work with him on the sets of ‘Sura’. He would make sure that all his costars feel comfortable with him,” the actress says with a big smile.

Heaping more laurels on the actor, Tamannah says, “I was initially scared to do a comedy scene with Vadivelu because he is such a veteran and I was totally new to it. But he taught me the nuances.”

On the role she played in ‘Thillalangadi’, she says, “I really enjoyed playing Nisha, an independent girl. The entire team was so co- operative and friendly we had solid fun while shooting for the film.”
