Tamannaah was last seen in Tamil in the Chiyaan Vikram starrer Sketch, and had a mixed bag of an year in 2018, as her releases like Naa Nuvve and Next Enti in Telugu ended disastrous outings at the box office, while her year-end flick KGF Chapter 1, where she had sizzled in a special song, is raking in the moolah.

The pretty actress will have her next release in the form of director Seenu Ramasamy's Kanne Kalaimaane, a rural entertainer where she plays a bank officer and is paired with Udhayanidhi Stalin. Udhay and Tamannaah are actively involved in promoting the movie, and recently Tamannaah had revealed the release date of Kanne Kalaimaane.

As the actress had been to an event in Vellore, while interacting with fans, Tamannaah revealed that Kanne Kalaimaane releases on February 1, and requested fans to support the movie. Also starring veteran Vadivukkarasi in a pivotal role, Kanne Kalaimaane has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, and the trailer of the movie will be out on January 9.
