It's known that Tamannaah Bhatia was to do 'Raju Gari Gadhi-3'. She kissed goodbye to the project after accepting it. Was she supposed to play Avika Gor's role? No. It was something else. Director Ohmkar, speaking to a senior journalist, has opened up on what happened between him and the 'Sye Raa' actress.
"Tamannaah asked us to change the story in the 11th hour. But it was not possible to make changes just a week ahead of taking the film to the floors. She felt that my script was more commercial in nature than what was narrated to her," Ohmkar said.
"Tamannaah's character was removed from the script after she left the project. Since she was doing the film, I enhanced the significance of Ashwin's character. I didn't want to go to some other star heroine, as it would have delayed the project. I wanted to wrap up the film by October come what may. I tried to get Kajal Aggarwal's dates, but she was not available for more than a week a month. In the end, Tamannaah lost a good project by walking out. And Ashwin has gained by getting to do a role with a lot of importance," Ohmkar added.
