Nikhil Kumar, grandson of Ex-Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda and son of Karnataka's Ex-Chief minister, HD Kumara Swamy is making his debut as hero with 'Jaguar', a 75 crore big budgeted film. Smt Anita Kumara Swamy has been producing this film under Chennambika Films Banner. A.Mahadev, a protege of S.S.Rajamouli, is the director of this film and Vijayendra Prasad is the story writer. Recently some high octane action sequences were shot in Bulgaria and producers spent a bomb on them. The unit says that the interval fight will be one of the major highlights of the film.

Very Good Response for Jaguar teaser

HD Kumara Swamy, who is presenting the film, said that the first look teaser received a very good response and even Pawan Kalyan was impressed. He added, "Pawan said that Nikhil Kumar has all qualities to become a good hero and he will have a very bright future. I am very happy about it".

About the special item song, Kumaraswamy said, " Tamannaah is doing a special song in this film and it will be a major plus.This song will be picturised in huge sets erected in Annapurna 7 acres, Hyderabad fromSeptember 5th.

Thaman is composing music for this movie and the all the songs are penned by Ramajogaiah Sastry. The audio will be launched on 18th September at Hitex Novotel, Hyderabad in the presence of film personalities.

The producer is planning to release the film on 6th October as Dussehra gift.

Speaking about the film, Hero Nikhil Kumar says, " I like Telugu and I watch Telugu films regularly. I remember the first time writer Vijayendra Prasad visited our house. At that time he assured my father that he will treat me like his son. Keeping his word Vijayendra Prasad has given a very good story for this film. Director Mahadev worked very hard and he has given wonderful output. Manoj Paramahamsa's visuals are beautiful. SS Thaman's music is fantastic. On my part I worked with all my efforts. I am very confident that this will be a landmark film for me. I also hope that Telugu audience will bless me by making 'Jaguar' a huge success."

Jagapathi Babu, Raghu Babu, Brahmanandam, Sampath, Aditya Menon, Bhajrang Lokesh, Avinash, Vinayak Joshi, Prasanth, Supreet Reddy, Rao Ramesh, Ramya Krishna will be seen in other important roles.
