Last week, it was reported that Tamannaah Bhatia approached a Bengaluru court against Innovative Film Academy, the banner which has produced MasterChef Telugu (the TV show hosted by the star actress for Gemini TV). The 'Baahubali' actress was its host till recently before she was replaced by Anasuya Bharadwaj. Tamannaah claimed that the production house did not honour the full payment of dues. Her lawyer also accused the Innovative Film Academy of unprofessional conduct.
The news is that the production house has now come back and said that what the 'Baahubali' star had claimed in the court petition is false. Innovative Film Academy added that Tamannaah was paid Rs 1.56 Cr as remuneration for shooting for 16 days. She was supposed to complete the entire shoot by the end of September. But she couldn't make it for 18 days as per the agreement. In other words, as per the producers, Tamannaah didn't show up for two days of the shoot.
The production house also told the Bengaluru civil court that Tamannaah's no-show has resulted in a loss of Rs 5 Cr for them.
It has to be seen whether the actress will complete the finale of the TV show as wanted by the producers.
