Nikhil Dwivedi has been going all out to promote his upcoming gritty love story, Tamanchey. The actor`s dedication was conspicuous when he recently went to Pune for the promotion of his movie even after getting succumbed to malaria.

A source close to the actor says, "He thought it was a mild fever when he was in Pune to promote his movie. He finished his promotion plans there but the fever kept getting worse. It was only when he was diagnosed with malaria that he finally decided to return to Mumbai."

Nikhil is currently recovering at Lilavati hospital. Due to his severe condition, several promotional plans for his upcoming film have been put to a halt. According to a source, "Due to his ill health, all his Ganpati visits and city tours have been put on hold till the time he feels strong enough to travel."
