Thalapathy Vijay is gearing up for the release of the highly-anticipated Pan India movie "Leo" which is scheduled for October 19, 2023. It is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Seven Screen Studio.

The shooting of "Leo" has been wrapped up and the team is now busy with the post-production work. Leo is scheduled to hit the screens on October 19th. Meanwhile, Thalapathy Vijay has already confirmed his next film which will be with director Venkat Prabhu.

Tentatively titled "Thalapathy 68", the movie marks the maiden collaboration between Thalapathy and Venkat Prabhu.Now, as per the latest reports from Tamil media suggest the makers are planning to rope in actress Jyothika to play the female lead opposite Thalapathy Vijay. It is widely known that Jyothika married yet another star hero Suriya almost a decade back. If reports are anything to go by, then it marks the reunion of the duo after 20 years. Thalapathy and Jyothika previously shared screen space in "Kushi" (2000), and "Thirumalai" (2003).
