Talasani father-son duo make biggest donation

Telangana Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and his son Sai Kiran Yadav have on Friday donated Rs 3 Cr to the Telangana government towards battling the coronavirus outbreak in the State. As per reports, this is the biggest amount donated by an individual politician thus far for the cause.

Note that several MLAs and MPs have donated from MLALAD and MPLAD funds. These are not from their pocket. They are a redirection of funds allotted to them by the government to carry out development activities in their constituencies.
