A close relative of challenging star Darshan – Manoj who has the same height and closely looks like Darshan makes debut as hero in ‘Takkar’ after doing sundry roles in a few films.

At Hanumanthanagara Ramanjaneya temple the muhurut shot for this film was held. Nagesh Kogilu working in different departments in the last 15 years is producing this film in SLN Creations. Nagesh Kogile made ‘Huliraya’ Kannada film recently that did not do well in the box office.

Raghu Shastry who directed ‘Run Antony’ starring Vinay Rajakumar is director of this film. Shastry has written songs for ‘Life Jothe Ond Selfie’ of director Dinakar Toogudeepa. Story and screenplay is also from Raghu Shastry.

Ranjini Raghavan who was recently seen in ‘Raja Hamsa’ is female lead in ‘Takkar’ for Manoj. Kiran Hampapura is behind camera, Manikanth Khadri of quite a few good films to his credit is composing music.

Chitan director of one film starring challenging star Darshan ‘Chakravarthy’ is writing dialogues. KM Prakash editing, Different Danny stunts are part of technical team of this film.
