Taj Mahal is a surprise package, with Abhiman delivering a melodious music. Different hues of emotions are well explained by the lyrics (Bhaskarabatla, Ramajogayya Sastry), while singers Hariharan, Karthik, Haricharan, Vijay Yesudas, Kunal Ganjawala, Venu, Malavika, Pranavi make a good job. The album has seven numbers in total, all of which fare well on the fathomability factor. Nee Meede Listen here Abhiman begins off very well with Nee Meede Manasu Padi. Karthik is the star of the song, while the musician comes at number two. It is because while the singer provides the soul, Abhiman's raaga seems a rip off of some hit number, thus giving a sense of deja vu. Bhaskarabatla's lyrics are heart-touching. Nuvvante Listen here Malavika's voice sounds great, while Abhiman's melody simply demands attention. Though it could, at times, sound a bit dated, for the lovers of melodies, it just doesn't matter. Ram Joghayya Sastry's lyrics are good. Chellani Premaku Listen here Vijay Yesudas' voice perfectly suits the melancholic song. Sastry's lyrics give a voice to the heartbroken lover. Dejection only becomes rich with the analogy of the Taj. The ending is a throw back to the days of Prem Nagar. Phew! Etu Chusina Listen here Kunal Ganjawala has a feel to it. It mirrors the feel of a self-forgetful lover best. Bhaskarabatla's lyrics and Abhiman's music are alternatively good and average. It begins with Sivaji declaring his experience in love. Emantha Neram Listen here Written by Raj Jhogayya Sastry, the song is crooned by Hariharan and Pranavi. Again, it is a throw back to a time that has far gone by, though not as far back as the 60s. Recommended for Hariharan's fans. Manasu Nippula Listen here Suddala Ashok Tej's lyrics and Haricharan's voice are compelling. Added to them, is Abhiman's beats that lend a personality to the song. Heavy lyrics are suffused by the protagonist's detailing of his own life. Prema Ee Vintha Listen here Doesn't prompt much attention. Venu's voice is nice. Bhaskarabatla's lyrics sound routine. The last in the album come last in preference too. |
