After the small cameo in the recent ‘Urumi’, talented Bollywood actress Tabu will be seen once again for the new Mollywood movie ‘Orissa’. The director of the movie, M Padmakumar has already approached the actress and is waiting for the green signal. This movie, a love story in the backdrop of Orissa is scripted by ‘Vellaripravinte Chengathi’ fame G S Anil. Tabu was first seen in Malayalam for the super hit movie ‘Kaala pani’ with Mohanlal.

Unni Mukundan who made an impressive relaunch with ‘Mallu Singh’ will play the role of a Malayali police officer, Christuraj, who is on deputation to Orissa. Christuraj who does not understand Oriya falls in love with Suneyi, who could not follow Malayalam. Padmakumar will be looking for an Oriya artiste to don the role of Suneyi, while Tabu is supposed to appear as her teacher.

The cast would include Bollywood stars and Oriya artists. Ratheesh Vega is the music director. The shoot for “Orissa’ is expected to begin at Cuttack and nearby places by January.
