Taapsee signs for a film with Vijay Sethupathi

Actress Taapsee Pannu, who is basking on the success of her recent blockbuster film Thappad, is all set to be seen in a Tamil film once again.

Taapsee’s recent last Tamil film was Game Over, which released in four different languages and is a super hit.

Now, she has signed for a horror comedy film with Vijay Sethupathi and she is super excited about the project.

Talking to a leading daily, Taapsee shared, “Yes, it’s a Tamil comedy that I’m doing with them along with Vijay. I had said yes to the script around a year ago and the director wanted me only to do this film. We were figuring out dates for this and as soon as things started opening up a bit, we quickly squeezed this one.”

The project will go on the floors in September in Jaipur and the actress will shoot for 28 days in a healthy environment. Also, she has Jana Gana Mana in her kitty and this is also a Tamil film.

Besides all these, she has Haseen Dillruba, before moving onto Loop Lapeta (the Hindi remake of Run Lola Run), followed by Rashmi Rocket and Mithali Raj biopic Sabash Mithu.
