Taapsee sheds a few kilos for Ganga

Shooting for Ganga has been the most physically exhausting experience for Taapsee Pannu. And this is the first time the glam diva is enacting in a horror comedy.

The actress shot underwater for nine hours and the shooting for suppose to last for two days. But decided to wrap it up in a single day because it was back-breaking. I was covered with rashes on my skin and it took some time to recover.

The Delhi-based had to endure many body blows and bruises right through the film's shooting. She had been dragged on the sand on a hot summer afternoon and was left bruised at the end of the day.

When Taapsee was shooting for the second half of the film, the actress had a physiotherapist attending to her since all her muscles and bones were stiff. She even underwent physiotherapy to get back in shape.

Although Taapsee was trained in martial arts to pull off the action scenes for her Bollywood film Baby, starring Akshay Kumar and Rana, she reckons shooting for Ganga as by far more strenuous affair.
