Speaking to a daily, Kangana Ranaut has on Thursday commented that Taapsee Pannu has been saying demeaning things about her. "She described me as an extremist and that I need a filter," the 'Manikarnika' actress said.

Prior to this, Taapsee plugged the trailer of 'Judgemental Hai Kya' (the Hindi film starring Kangana) without anywhere mentioning Kangana's name in the tweet. Rangoli, Kangana's sister, got provoked and hit out at Taapsee for not lauding the lead actress of the film. She said, "Kuch log Kangana ko copy kar ke he apni dukaan chalate hain, magar pls note, they never acknowledge her not even a mention of her name in praising the trailer, last I heard Taapsee ji said Kangana needs a double filter and Tapsee ji you need to stop being a sasti copy."

At this, Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, who is a friend of Taapsee, defended the 'Game Over' and 'Anando Brahma' actress. Later, Kangana backed her sister's language and said that Taapsee has been derogatory towards her.
