Taapsee replaces Trisha

Trisha was originally set to be the heroine of director Thiru's next film, which will have Jai in the lead role. However, she opted out of the project due to clash of dates.

And now, Taapsee Pannu has been roped in as the leading lady of this yet untitled movie, which is tipped to be an action adventure. Shooting will start from the last week of April.

confirming this, the 'Theeradha Vilayattu Pillai' and 'Samar' maker says, "Taapse will play a Kumbakonam girl in this movie, while Jai will play a city youngster." Some crucial portions will be shot in Kumbakonam.
